Ed Dale - Team Leader

Ed won the trophy as Winnipeg's number one realtor in his first year of business in 1978. Not believing in over night successes, it was years of hard work that brought him to this point. Ed spent six years at the University of Manitoba earning two degrees. His Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science Pharmacy. Ed says, "I learned professionalism in Pharmacy, I learned hard work from my Dad." Born and raised on the family farm in Lauder, MB, Ed learned how to work hard. Spending summers in the hay field lifting bales from the time he was twelve, taught him this basic work ethic.

After spending a very short time as a Pharmacist, Ed realized sales were his passion. He joined Ayerst Pharmaceuticals and became their number one salesman in Canada in just one year. Taking a territory that was doomed to failure; Ed turned it into a virtual gold mine in twelve months. If he could sell pills, he could sell something bigger. Real estate became his next goal. Earning countless awards, such as #1 realtor in Winnipeg in 1979 and 1982, his first two years were spent with J.J. Gibbons which was bought out by NRS Block Bros. There he spent fifteen years. RE/MAX Real estate has been his home for the last ten years.

Married for twenty-two years, Ed has three children. Ed loves camping with the family, golfing, and taking winter vacations. He and his wife Carolyn, enjoy hiking and traveling.

Carolyn Dale - Creative Director

The team uses one word to describe Ed's wife Carolyn; creative. She uses this gift to assist Ed in advertising, new projects and overseeing the team.

Born in the little hydro town of Seven Sisters Falls, MB Carolyn spent her early childhood enjoying the outdoors and the Whiteshell Provincial Park lakes.

After high school Carolyn worked in the Investment Industry before taking seven years of Bible School part-time. Combining this knowledge and her creativity she served as Children's Minister of a local church for sixteen years.

Carolyn's passion has always been her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children camping, traveling, hiking and attending church. An avid reader, Carolyn enjoys sharing her knowledge by teaching a variety of classes and working with kids and teens in creative venues.

Carolyn brings a positive and friendly attitude to the team. She enjoys seeing all the members succeed by assisting our clients find their perfect home.

Maria Sanchez - Office Manager

Maria Sanchez, Office Manager, Maria will be the first person you speak with when contacting the Ed Dale Home Selling Team. As the teams Office Manager, she is the central hub of operations ensuring all systems and inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. Maria brings a wealth of experience in Administration with over 11 years of experience, 5 years of which specializing in the Real Estate business. Her portfolio includes working as National Real Estate Coordinator for Microcell Connexions in Toronto, Property Management Administrator for Brookfield Properties in Toronto, and as Real Estate Operations Manager for a local Brokerage here in Winnipeg. She is also a licensed Realtor.

Scott Cawson - Listing & Buying Specialist

Scott grew up the Real Estate industry. Watching his mother sell homes as a younger inspired him to join the business in 1998, at the age of 25. Prior to his career, Real Estate, Scott was involved in the Fire and Safety field, as a service technician, salesperson and eventually, in management. His experience dealing with the public prepared him well for the rigors of the home selling trade.

Scott lists his wife and three children as the most important aspects of his life away from work. In his spare time, Scott involves himself in the community as a hockey and goal-tending coach, and is active playing hockey and softball. Traveling, cooking and collecting Sports Memorabilia are also interests.

Scott is well known for his creativity, sense of humor and for his willingness to lend hand. His "tell it like it is" attitude is appreciated in the business, as he feels it's integral that his clients know exactly what they're getting when selling or purchasing property.
